What I was doing instead of sleeping...

Ok I’ve been up since 2:10am and it’s now 5:22pm and I have to be up in a few hours to plow snow. Well what can I say I’d rather be CM models then plowing snow lol. 

So today I worked on cutting off his stub lol.

After I cleaned up his backside a little I got to thanking I really dont want to do a braded tail on him so I googled up some POA Jumpers and I found the tail I want to do.

I couldnt find my sand paper so I got a little creative.

All washed off.

There was some funky factory paint on his mane so I got out the nail polish remover and cleand his forlock up.

Have you ever primed a model when it's 38 degrees out...well nither had I till today and it wasn't as bad as I thought.

while I was waiting on the primer to dry my crazy dog was attacking my foot.

A short and sweet post tonight sorry everyone but I'm to tired to right more. :)



The Best Way To Waste A Sunday....

I spent my Saturday morning plowing snow so I ended up sleeping the afternoon away. So I decided to waste my Sunday away well I really didn’t waste it I spent it working on a model watching the Law& Order SVU marathon. I tend to get more work done when I work in front of the tv lol I still don’t know how that works but it does.

Anyways I have a newsworthy CM that needs a new life thats what I have been working on to give him.

So I decided Im goin to turn him in to a POA (Pony Of America) jumper. I haven't thought of how Im goin to paint him but I do know what need to be done to him.

As with all OF's they lose a lot of there detail un like there resin cousins. So his tail must go ahh breaking tails my favorite thing to do.

Next we have this ugly thick mane that needs to go ASAP!!

So I broke this bad boys tail and noticed hit right leg just doesn't look right. Ugh something I didn't want to see so now to the drawing borad to figure out how I'm going to go about fixing him.

Well I got a little carried away striping his paint. I was only planing to strip the paint around the area where I planid to work on. lol

So his man hood needed a little work.

Ahh yes its starting to look better. :) atleast to me it is.







Snow Snow And More Snow

I love my job don’t get me wrong. Plowing can be fun when there’s snow on the ground and it can be a little scary with people wanting to go 60 mph down the road with snow covering the road to were you can’t see it anymore. But it goes with the job and in the end it makes me a better driver. The down fall to my job is the models in my studio get pushed back. Sunday I had planned to get cracking on one of the models in my studio but my boyfriend ended up getting all of my attention. I was still talking him to him when I got the phone call at 2:30 in the morning on Monday to go in and plow. By the time I got off work at noon on Monday I had to be up for 28 hours. So I ended up not getting to work on any of my models yesterday ether then my boss called me at 10 that night to be in at work at midnight. Luckily I didn’t have to work till noon or 3:30 when I normally get off work but when I got home I crashed and burned and didn’t get up till my boyfriend got off work so another day and no models have been worked on I guess we’ll see what tomorrow brings. Since tomorrow is pay day I’ll be able to stop at the hardware store and pick up primer I believe white and maybe brown as well I guess we’ll see I wouldn’t be surprised if I walk out with more than just primer. I can spend all day in the hardware store you can always find things to use to make props for performance but that’s another topic for another day.

Whats Goin On In The Studio

Ok it's been a while since I've posted but with a new year brings a new begging. I got a new job back in October with that everyhting in my life has been running smoothly. But there's still bridges I must cross and the biggest one is moving from this small town I grew up in and moving 1,100 miles away to be with the man I love. Well thats a story for another time right now I'm goin to go threw everything thats in my studio that I hope to get a move on and get finished.

As you see I have a full studio and I need to get to work so I'm off to get one of these bad boys out and get goin.
